i think most are going to say this has the best 3 options and no-SR is a plus. off the top of my head, i'm going to say $225-240k. $250k is a significant marker to reach, but it might.

I have never purchased a collector / museum piece so I am interested to know the value in the car actually running. A typical car you look for maintenance and service records. This car only has only 2000miles, was it serviced occasionally? Or did it sit with that same fluids for a decade(s)? Is it the case that it will never be driven so it’s a mute point?

Regardless I think it will hit the quarter mil

It's extremely bad to let these cars sit. This C2 Turbo I'm working on needs every single piece replaced after sitting for 22 years. Oil turns to sludge, same with fuel. Dry rot on the area of the 1998 tires, electric motors are all shot, Fuel lines need mineral oil ran through IF we're going to save them. Just ordered all new relays, Fuse panel, control units. and that's just the first week. Buyers think they are basically buying a new car. Not so.

I think a lot depends on how the car was stored and where it was stored. I am currently working on a C4 that sat for 15 years but it was stored in a dry warehouse. Of course the tires were shot and all fluids had to be replaced with fuel being the hardest one to replace. I had to remove the tank, buy some new fuel lines and a new fuel pump but thankfully the fuse panel, wiring and control units were all fine. I did have to replace a couple of relays but of course as Scott points out, you are not buying a new car and you have to expect some labour and parts will be needed, but the degree will depend on mileage and how it was stored.

I hope the new owner is happy. If I had a spare $1.1M I wouldn't be spending it on that.

Not this either but I would take this first.

I like the looks of this as a driver but I'm not sure how pulling the AC and other things that make it so far from original will be viewed by the buying public. I'm tempted to bid but not what I would if it was stock...and I'm not really a stock kind of person..but those cars are stock kinds of cars...

In other words, you literally have 0 clue what this car is.

In other words. I've owned one. I love it when people say "literally" like it somehow validates what they are saying.

PS @Jmw1234 Great looking car and great mods. I didn't intend to discredit anything - simply curious how the car would be perceived - if in its modified state, the RS badge bolsters the price or if the car value in this case is more the sum of the very nice selection of parts and talented people who built it. Either way, I wish you the best outcome.
