I think that’s realistic

What are the plans, will all gauges in the instrument cluster work? Rev counter, engine temp, oil pressure, econometer and boost gauge for the turbo guys.

All the stuff except for vacuum/boost will work unless you add a secondary sensor for that. Currently at least

Many of those with modified 951s already have an aftermarket boost gauge anyway. Not much will need to change for an 07K swap, just needs to be tapped into a good manifold vacuum/pressure source, no additional sensor needed.

As an interesting aside, when I installed the VEMS ECU with built-in MAP sensor in my 951 with original engine (using the same boost signal line as the factory KLR), my factory boost gauge started reading gauge pressure instead of absolute pressure, and it is actually quite accurate!

Found myself going through old posts, trying to figure out how I'm going to plumb my coolant/heater system; Alan, did iAbed ever get back to you on the coolant filling port? and.... do we have a lead time for the cast Tstat housings?

no, but we have not had any issues with filling and bleeding the cooling system on Mike’s car by simply pouring coolant into the expansion tank, running the engine until it burps, and filling it some more. That port on the tstat housing is plugged on Mike’s car.

Just to keep moving, Mike and I are proceeding under the assumption that those cast housings don’t exist. So we’re going to use a little adapter plate that lets us mount a 1.8t tstat cover/neck to the 07k tstat housing.

Sweet, so will that be included in like a "cooling system kit" that has both the 5 axis flange, and the adapter plate, or will everything be sold separately on the BBG site when available?

If there’s enough interest in the cooling parts, we will definitely offer them for sale. Not sure yet if they will be sold as a kit or separately.

I'm definitely in for all the little cooling parts and adapters you develop!

Also I probably missed it but I'm thinking the flange will be ready for sale soon right?

Maybe we can inquire with PE about the ECU's and harnesses soon? Or are we waiting for turbo development to finish so appropriate sensors can be included

I’ll be in for the cooling parts as well . I’m still on the fence about the ECU and harness for now . I’m still driving mine now until I have all the parts necessary to swap it out other than a downpipe .
