By the way, don't you think your IC pipes are very long? How would it compare to the standard, much shorter, pipes?

Current bottle lasts about 12 full pulls. This bottle could easily be increased in size however.

Still nice progress Shawn!

By the way; why is nobody ever looking to get a new expansion vessel? For my project i'm just building one from stainless but the easy way; 3" pipe with some connection..

Not many other places to put a tank and keep it above the radiator and head coolant levels, along with having the correct volume.

Thanks Sid. Wheels changed the look of the car for sure. Much more to do. Still have a shot of getting close to my goals without a lot more cost. I have a cam on the way and the 65 mm TB will be installed this afternoon.

Right on. I'm looking forward to the cam results.

I'm still waffling on whether to go through with the 16v or stick with the 8v. I went to a closed course street race last weekend and I was so impressed with the talons (smoking my friends 7 second cars!!) , that I'm considering making that my high HP priority car.

I don't want to have two similar type cars to drive ie; laggy top end monsters.

I wish I had more experience with how the driving characteristics would change.

Closed road course sounds like a lot of fun! My best friend just bought a Boxter Spyder RS60. It has about 300 hp but a flat torque curve and it is really fun to drive. I am looking forward to a lot of driving in the next month as we are taking our cars to the Tail of the Dragon and then a DE at Road Atlanta at the end of October. Over the winter I want to look hard at my suspension but I have much to learn in this area. Should be fun however

Yes, +1 on what Sid says. Car is looking really sharp Shawn. See that you're a Buffy fan too. lol
There's great gobs of TQ in that motor. Should be really great to drive around town, highway, twistys and track. Congratulations.

ps...are you going to do cam and TB at the same time or one by one and log the differences?

Thanks Patrick. I think I will dyno the TB alone next Thursday.

Installed a Pre 2005 4.6L Ford Mustang 65 mm throttle body. Test drove the car tonight and worked great. The TB is readily available for $30 but is quite a bit of work to adapt. Made an adapter plate and was able to retain the 951 TPS. Also mounted the stock 951 TB pulley. Was able to drill the intake bolt pattern
in the mustang TB mount as shown below:
