Completed the DE at Road Atlanta without any mechanical problems whatsoever I had so much fun learning and pushing the car a bit. Last session was by far my best and unfortunately I forgot to turn on the GoPro. Definitely going to to be changing up my suspension a bit.
Hoping to get a couple 1/4 miles passes in the next couple weeks before cold weather sets in.

Remind me what suspension you've got Shawn? I kept wanting for you to mash the throttle just to see/hear the beast take off.
I also wanted to dub in what the instructor was saying. In my mind he was talking about the merits of various types of root vegetables in a Minestrone soup!
"On one hand you have your Idaho potato, classic and simple. Then throw in a Kipfler, now you're talking buddy"

My instructor was probably saying "keep your foot in it". During one of the sessions the instructors could take their students out in the instructors car. After we had been out for about 10 minutes he said to me "do you see what I am saying?" (he had been chatting the whole time). I said "I have no idea what you are saying, I am just holding on for dear life."
Thanks Harry!

Just looked at the 1/4 mile track schedule in Commerce GA. Looks like either this Friday or the next Friday. Then they close for the winter. Going to try to get out their this Friday. I will give you a call later in the week, if you don't mind, and get some input.

Can't wait to see your results. I was telling Josh I am a little excited now about the FL car after reading the 11 second post. I have most of what he has and then some. Going to be interesting. Didn't think a 2.5 was capable of that.

One more thing on my list left to do before Winter, Drag Race the 951 I have not drag raced since my Sr year in high school and that was a LONG time ago. Took the car out tonight launch testing The car is so different with with the new rims and tires. The grip is so much better. Ran the rears at 28 psi, I chirp the tires in third but stay planted at 17-18 psi. With the old rubber I got caught off guard a couple times breaking loose in third. I had a lot of fun tonight The car has been solid as a rock!
The plan is to go to the Atlanta Dragstrip in Commerce tomorrow night. It is the last open date of the year. With the S2 tranny it looks like I am going to redline in 4th at about 114mph so I may have to shift into 5th. I am going to make a run or two at 17-18 psi and if all feels good I will try a pass or two at 20 psi. If I can break into the 12's I would be really happy but most importantly I want to drive home.
