During the day today i got the boost upto 17 psi and holy **** it moves.

at high load the engine makes a deeper firing noise, not sure what it is, i need to look into it more. Tomorrow i'll have a look for exhaust leaks around the x over... it might be that but it would do it constant.

I cant get a data log of boost since my LM-2 is playing up

Here's a video of a quick 14 psi pull in 2nd and a bit of 3rd.

Damn, that thing sounds like it pulls pretty nice at only 14psi.

Thanks guys!

The car is back and running after the TPS was playing up.

MY LM-2 is still playing up by scaling down the input voltage by 50%. but i have a quick fix for that problem until I figure out what's doing it.

Im going to log:
- RPM
- AFR
- Boost
- TPS
- MAF voltage

Ehh 2 exhaust leaks...

1 straight from the turbo to the down pipe, easy fix, i'll get a custom copper/aluminium gasket made.
2 Exhaust manifold to Xover. PITA this leak. i might need to get some custom crush rings made for that also. rest of the exhaust looks good though. maybe next week i'll get the Xover off since now it's real easy to do and see if the Vband leaked or not. from looking underneath and on top, looks clean.

Tomorrow Ill be getting a 20k pot to quieten down the noise from the rpm signal to log high rpm then post up some logs!

my LM-2 cannot see high rpm because the signal is to noisy. instead of saying 6230 rpm it would be stuck on 5000 rpm and wont move untill the rps drops bellow 5000. or sometimes it would think it's doing over 8000 rpm.
so you use the pot to quieten down the noise from the signal (It's in the manual)

Paully,

I have my LM-2 working now (except haven't installed sensor in bung yet) and logging of all inputs (AFM, MAP, TPS, IAT) and RPM is working flawlessly. RPM logged to 6200 so far without problem. Did you ground the RPM signal to the DME earth?

Here's a snap of my log building boost from 2000 rpm.
The RPM wont log properly, i might try log a negative injector pulse. i've tired all the rpm signals from the DME. The one i used was pin 21 (Tach)

I'm not sure why the boost goes down then back up. but the AFRS are right on.

The green one named Volts is MAF voltage. to get the actual voltage just double it.

I want to see your boost v rpm file when you get it working.
