Great work. I wish my welding was half as good as yours.

This is going to be a loud car though, what are noise restrictions on road cars like in Oz?

Thanks , That's Dads welding, i couldn't do as half as good of a job. but we've got a new TIG so i can practice now

The muffler should quieten it a bit but on full boost... hahaha. If its to loud I'll add another muffler in the exhaust and if the wastegate sounds crap I'll add a muffler or a hotdog to quieten it down.

Yeah we've got a lot of restrictions on our roads. 90% of my car complies with the law now. My exhaust doesn't (no cat and might be to loud, hope not though)

Nice job, everything is looking good. Getting close to a test run I bet.

I'm getting ready to tear into mine to install the s head. I'll be re-doing my crossover and exhaust too. I hope it comes out as nice.

Thanks, well hopefully Friday or before Friday it should get started, it all depends on when my updated chip arrives with some parts.

Oh the Crossover IMO is a PITA, each time something is welded it moves...
That's probably been the biggest headache so far is the welding and everything moving.

A few more things done today. first off before i went to work i stopped off at a local exhaust shop to get some flairs done to the wastegate pipe to make it an easier fit.
Once i got home we welded some up, put the Xover on and made sure the V-Band from the down pipe wasn't getting in the way of the Xover. i got the wastegate on with the dump pipe from it so tomorrow i can measure up how long i need the wastegate exhaust will be so get that finished.

Your wastegate will be very loud. The exhaust looks good though. I would try and get a resonator or something for the wastegate pipe. Other than that the fab looks great.

Cheers Wayne! It has taken 4-5 months to do all this. not including the 3 months While in Europe.

I have finished the exhaust. which means I've finished the car

I've put everything back together in probably 4 hours. Changed the oil ect. but havn't started it yet. waiting on my MAP sensor to arrive to start it or the DME will think it's in full boost LOL.

The exhaust isn't on a angle, it's just how the photo came out
