I sent the block out to be cleaned, it came back to me like that. *shrug* the bores are MINT.

Update:

Started working on the dash today, which required carefully pulling up the edge of the alcantara that is normally tucked behind all the switches/cover pieces in the center of the dash.

Modifying the side vents, this is purely for asthetics as they are no longer functional.

*Gasp* I just did a mod for form over function... I'm such a ricer.

Lower cut off, next up was trimming, which didnt take all to long.

Finished cleaning the motor mounts, put all new O rings on the Air/Oil seperate and attached that (after cleaning all the grime off of it). Forgot to seal up the balance shaft oil return holes, I'll need to do that tomorrow if I have time.

New manual hatch release cable, this is so I can open the hatch without using the key (which will be deleted), as I already deleted the motor for it awhile back. The lever will be mounted on the cage, passangers side.

Starting to come together

What's the stalk surround look like, I'm almost positive I have it. If so, it's yours. Checking....

It's just the black cover peice that fits between the wheel and dash, rectangular, two holes in it for each stalk to stick out of.

This thing? The rubber gasket thingy on the backside is cut on one side, but the plastic portion is perfect. Send one of your day laborers up to get it

Do those EVO 2 seats give you a good bit of extra headroom? Were they difficult to install because of the extra width?

The Evo 2's are actually a bit big for me, I prefer Pro2k's. I'm a relatively small guy (waist size), but they do sit significantly lower than stock.

Great job Mikey. You are making some amazing progress. I really dig how you set-up the interior.

Really? Im 6'6 and 216lbs with a 36inch waist. Do you think that seat would be a good fit? Just curious offhand.

Hey Mike, quick picture request if you have some time. Can you snap a photo of the drain routing for the sunroof? I'm having issues with mine and it'd be nice to have a shot of where it goes exactly. Thanks if you can, and thanks if you can't!

Also, your quick release wheel hub, will that work with just any wheel?
