So what's the deal? This is number 16 and the phone number is the same one that was listed from the original Craigslist ad. Is this just an old ad?

yes. Both this (dmhager's now) and the weissach are old ads.

Very nice GPW '80 manual with very original condition and working r12 AC (extra R12 AC comes with the car).

Few (not bad) cracks in the dash with a deep pit to the driver's seat bolster being held by alum tape. Needs full paint.

Maybe $6-8 US?

Hmmm, ok Hoi, I kinda get that, and I know it's not a super low Vin# 1012, but it is a '78 manual, cork/pasha!!!!

Maybe I am just too obsessed with these old pre '80 OB cars, but if it were down here, then I would be explaining my third OB to her indoors

Got a call back on this one. It runs (started last month) but AC is inoperable and the windows won't go up (but they have the parts to fix).

I might go see it this weekend. Might also make a cash offer.

Am I insane?
