I think I read somewhere that there is WSM guidance on adding newer shocks to an OB and how different (shorter) springs need to be used in order to offset the increase in height? Something like that. My ‘78 always looks a bit high as well...

Nate, it's an orange Mahle filter painted blue to phenocopy the original Purolator PM1674 that came on the '78s.
Tom, I didn't know that he was going to flip it, I don't think he knew he was going to flip it. I think the sale is COVID related, but that's just a guess. No biggie, I'm interested to see how she does, kind of cool to have a car running through a Gooding auction, if only in spirit.

I'm not aware of any restored early 928s that have publicly changed hands. So this will be an interesting comp. Unfortunate time to sell it however. I hope it does well and renews a little faith in the market.
