That was my original thought too. Thankfully the BaT photos in the auction are a much better representation. However this photo works well for the cover of the “baby book”.

I respectfully disagree. I think that picture looks awesome. As long as most of the pictures represent the car in it's true state, then one or two beauty shots like this are appreciated.

Fair enough to disagree. My position is it's not a CGI/Photoshop beauty contest if you're selling your car via the internet but I get what you're saying. Of course, what's to keep someone from using Photoshop to smooth out "minor" imperfections and selling it on. I'd personally be leary if an ad had clearly enhanced photos (just like real estate).

Car has been removed from the marketplace.

I may repost at a later date but for now I am just going to drive it.

Default '86 5spd....with 1/2 finished Renegade LT1 conversion

You want a project? Now THIS would be a project. Finishing up someone else's attempt to drop in a Camaro V8 ten years ago.
I don't see any reason to start the "parts car vs. restoration car" debate on this one!

Default Weissach No 59

No. 59 Weissach with luggage and only 60,500 miles. But $62,986? It amazes me how out of touch some of these dealers are. Nice car. It will sit there for over a decade at that price IMO.

Are they nice though? Always makes me think of the room a distant retired relative had that kept plastic covers on the sofas and had carpet in the bathroom.
Not 80’s retro good... 80’s sleazy and grubby looking... even if it has the Weissach name.

Just posted on Ebay 88 S/4 5speed with 30K miles Laguna Green $64,500.....Out of touch??
https://www.ebay.com/itm/293153632822?ul_noapp=true

I hope it's the new reality (wishful thinking) as I will be selling my Venetian Blue/Lt gray 5 speed with 60k but looks like 30K. I'll post pics soon.

That seller has posted and re-posted that listing a number of times. It was discussed earlier in this thread. Seems high asking price to me, but the seller is patient!

Looks like a standard HDR photograph every smart phone is capable of taking.

I think you are right. Technically HDR is photo editing just done automatically
