I'll be the optimist and say that at least BAT was willing to give it a healthy reserve. 2 years ago asking for a $60+K reserve on a GT would have gotten you laughed at.

I tried to bid on the BaT 928. Had trouble refreshing my web browser and did not get my last bid in. Tried to get the seller to contact me and BaT blocked my comments. My response....no longer looking at BaT. Would rather buy a known quantity without the hoopla from my fellow 928 cognocenti on Rennlist.

Owned and documented, maintained for last 20 years by PCA Potomac member. Original Paint, Mechanicals, Interior, tool kit. Runs and drives great, recently driven to 24th Annual 928 Frenzy - Sept. 2020. Was a daily driver for many years, placed at a Parade concours.

 

This is not a mark of distinction. Have you seen some of the junk that shows up at Frenzy?

 

Follow up to my post 8699:
The Green Machine has a metric odometer. It has 128500 KM on it, or about 86000 miles.
It's in San Antonio. I'm planning on attending 3rd Coast with her.

 

 

This one isn’t far from me and I wish I could justify buying this one to part out as she has a few goodies. Currently the seller is only willing to sell as a whole. Supposedly it has original paint though the rest doesn’t look too great. She’s an early USA car, VIN 0289.

Maybe she’d make a good restoration project for someone looking to spend $30k+ on it?
