I like it too, but $13k is well into crack-pipe territory.

Great colors! Lots of catch-up maintenance done & ready for the next level. This would be a great daily driver!
IMHO, an OB buy at $6,900
ARGHHHHHH! I was in Detroit for a funeral Thursday - Saturday. I could have driven it home.

I drove by my paternal grandfather's home on Friday afternoon and pulled up in front without even paying attention to the $100k Mercedes parked in front. I hopped out and noticed 4 young black men in the car and realized the car was worth the same as 2 or 3 houses combined on that block. The window went down and I told him, "My father was born and raised in that house." My sister was already on the sidewalk. We spent less than 60 seconds looking at the house before I said, "Let's get out of here." Thumbs up to the brothers and then out of there. We were lucky. Detroit has changed.

This is the same one I posted above when it was on CL. I believe he was asking $35K. Will be interesting to see what it goes for on BaT. Great looking car.

Default 86.5 manual prussian blue from BaT

I would be surprised if it doesn't reach $30k. Should hit $35k, since he's shown a level of participation that is needed for top dollars.
If it doesn't hit those numbers, then one can speculate miles still trumps in the end, since Dwayne's car hit $40.5k with an auto and less desirable year.

Thank you for pointing that out Nate. Went back to the CL ad but it's already been deleted by its author. Do wonder what the BAT reserve is on this car...18k maybe ? As Hoi predicted of 30-35K but who knows...depends on qualified bidders having the $$ readily available and the "want" factor at auction end. This all ^^said, strange run on Prussian Blue 928's lately...two on BAT at this time and one last week on eBay. Would guess the latest 86.5 one owner 5spd/LSD on BAT will bring the BIG$$$ but what do I know. T

Tony, What do you know?.....You the man!!! I love this car but seems to me the RNM on BAT has grown lately as many nice cars start to flood the market. The amount of recent 928s may be drying up the current buyer pool for our favorite car.

Hey Zach, Seems to be enough buyers waiting in the wings to purchase the well cared for 928's. When was the last time a nice 928 put up for sale didn't sell..unless they asking price was to high. Also, many current 928 owners don't seem to have any trouble adding another 928 to there collection...you being a great example T

This no rub rail GTS with 45,000 miles is on eBay... Buy it now at $53,900

Did not meet reserve on BAT because it is a Japanese car offered in Canada, with a lack of records, goofy intake tubes, 928 Motorsports shock tower brace and odd drop links. Car looks nice in other regards. Zermatt over Magenta...

Also no jump post cover...

I am predicting that BaT set the reserve at ~$25-28k due to relatively ave-high mileage.>50k miles.
Won't be surprised if RNM due to recent stock market drops.
Bargain if anywhere <$30k.

WoW this car has great bones the interior is spectacular as is the exterior, thats the best parts of one of these machines.

FWIW based on underbody pictures it will need shocks and motor mounts and trans mounts. plus any other catch up stuff for the fuel, PS, and oil and AC lines.
figure about 5k to 8K in extras to make it like new.
This machine is similar in the colors to my Samantha car and we know where that one went.

NOTE I didnt want to post this to BaT as no need to buzzkill this machine,
but researchers here should be informed.

IMHO, I think you actually should post that info. You’re a trusted and known source and that’s a huge part of the premise behind BaT: having an informed community come together and discuss/dissect the cars on the block. Otherwise BaT is worse than a regular auction because buyers generally can’t inspect the cars and would be going off solely what the listing says. Input from people like you is what is specially needed, not dumb quips from the peanut gallery (like me).
