Great colors! Lots of catch-up maintenance done & ready for the next level. This would be a great daily driver!
IMHO, an OB buy at $6,900

An interested buyer should inquire whether or not the list of repairs was done by Jim or someone other than Jim. Seems to be a good buy regardless, but it would be nice to know who did the work. Jim?

Anyone know anything about this S4? Seems like a pretty good deal, though the maintenance history is only by word of mouth...

'79 Porsche 928 - Euro, Auto, Opal Metallic, Brown w/Black-Brown Pasha - $6900
Thanks Ghosteh for the referral, very kind.
Yes, placer, this is a friend/client consignment from an enthusiast on this forum, Eman. He saved it and delivered it straight to me. This 928 is our 2nd project together.
Yes, JP, the listed work was done by me.
While it's been for sale, my GF and I have enjoyed driving it. It's a nice 928 that runs, shifts and rolls easy. Certainly, it's not w/o it's issues and blemishes, but I think it's an honest 928 at its price-point.

For those in the PNW, Bring a Trailer is holding a meet-up at The Shop in Seattle this Friday, October 5th. Could be an interesting event to attend.

I read this from a hit relating to importing a vehicle from Canada:
So why can't this Weissach be brought into the US from Canada?
Selecting a Vehicle to Purchase – Meeting U.S. Standards to Import a Vehicle
If the vehicle you are importing is less than 25 years old you will need to prove that it meets U.S. safety and emission requirements. Most cars sold in the U.S. are built specifically for this market and cars built for the Canadian market may not meet all of the requirements. If your car was manufactured more than 25 years ago it is exempt from these requirements. So why can't this Weissach be brought into the US from Canada?

It’s pretty rough. Listing features a zoomed-in picture of a VIN plate with some silver-oversprayed-looking fittings in-frame. I don’t recognize the fittings or where this picture was taken. It might be the angle that’s throwing me off.
