928s for Sale

Hi Ed, Yes appears this 86.5 has spent a bit of time in the sun but still appears to be in overall nice condition. The dropbox link on this eBay side does not work for me...maybe someone with a dropbox account can download some pics of the engine bay and undercarriage then post up here ? Bidding so far has been comical even though there does not appear to be a reserve. As usual...I've got no dog in this fight T

All of a sudden the market is a sea of Prussian Blue:
Bring A Trailer
86.5 Auto, purportedly mileage in low 40k range. Jump post cover but no 14 pin cover - how do we react to that?

Hey I wanted to let you know I couldn’t open any of those pics of your car on that Google drive format. I’ve tried several times to download it. Don’t know if you have another way of getting them to some potential buyer out there- good luck! It’s probably a blessing for me that I can’t see them as I’m sure it’s beautiful and I’m already committed to the black car. Aaron

86 Prussian Blue (Indiana)
One more fish in the Prussian Blue sea of 86.5s. This time a one owner 5-speed and in great condition. Best of this Prussian Blue bunch IMO.

You've got to love these for sale ads - "This car is an exceptional example of what Porsche creates..... The car starts, runs and drives. It has been sitting lately so it would definitely benefit from a tune-up/service." I'd say just a bit. Very healthy ask at $17500 for this neglected looking car.

I just tested the download link again, including in a browser without an a active google login. I did not have any issues.
I'll look at moving it to another service, google was just the most convenient.
Also, we need some pictures of that black car.

Sorry, I'm on vacation and not on top of these BaT listings as quickly as usual. Anyway Dennis is back with what looks like a real high quality driver 5-speed '87, black over black.

Original radio. Both parcel trays. Looks pretty ‘unmolested.’ With some expert TLC, both cosmetic and appearance, this might be a near-investment-grade 928. That is... if you can get it at a reasonable price,

Bummed out that I couldn't Tony.
I have this investment startup opportunity with potential 20x ROI (yeah, I know pie in the sky stuff), that came to be available 10 days ago. Have money committed.
I discussed pricing with the seller 3 weeks ago from Pelican and he wanted $25k but would've settled for $20k. I told him I don't think the car would hit $15k (which I would've paid gladly), and I am right.
No history, manuals, with the car and missing 2/3 pieces of luggage, the car was sold correctly.
5 years ago, the car would've been $5-7k.
I bought #155 for $11k, and my car has LSD, certificate, and brand new luggage.

Copper brown metallic 78 5sp on Ebay
Copper brown metallic 78 5sp on Ebay. Seem to remember some discussion about this one (horrendous pinstripe), but can't seem to find it here.

Not original paint (can see overspray on the moulding in the last pic), but a good starting candidate for someone wanting to restore a 78. (Mar 78 build date).
