Car was leaking fuel from the rear PU only when the tank was brimmed. After 15 mins driving and subsequent fuel use, no leaks. Took it to my local Porsche "specialist" who said all was ok. We dropped the fuel tank over the weekend to find the top breather hose was like a sprinkler. Replaced that, all is well again. Thanks to @Cheburator for the skillz

Progress has slowed due to cold and no heat in the garage, but I started putting things back together. I got the battery box and exhaust remounted today. I also mounted a magnetic paper towel roll holder and glove box on my lift!

Went for a sunset drive after work today. PCH north from Newport Beach to Sunset Beach and back. And then wrote some haiku.

Pink skies to port side

Flip, fore frog lanterns homewards

Low grumble, cocoon

Violent Femmes cassette

Blau' art thou sound patina

hissing, clicking, thanks

Re-centered passenger side headlamp, was a couple mm off.

Removed driver side seat and then the power switches. Ordered new switch.

Also ordered new hydraulic headlight leveling system. Can't wait to install it, again sigh

Working towards my 2,000mi check up after engine rebuild. Couple hundred to go....

I got my car back on the road last weekend but it had an annoying miss. Tonight I checked the plugs - a great way to get intimate with your car BTW - the plugs looked pretty good but one had a gap of less than 25 (not the pic). I opened it up just so 30 would pass through and took it for a drive. It felt much better! Not 100% but close.
