It's not 100% yet, but it beats the fake carbon fiber the PO installed.

Yeah, and in the "Oh for God sakes, what else is broken" I can see a crack on the heater control gear on the pot between the centerline and half way to the teeth.

Is it possible to get a new gear? Either printed or made or something?

Of course this is noticed after I get the bulb in, the ***** fixed, and everything working. Because.... yeah.

Inspecting shaft of spare torque tube. Looks like splines are gone? Is it broken?

Your splines look fine, just coated in a lot of surface rust. Greg Brown does sell new shafts for $595 if you're interested in rebuilding the torque tube.

Dash complete, minus the vents. Radio installed and operating. Tried a suede trim and I'm not sure I like it.

Finally got 'round to this with my tube of Drei Bond. If you have a mysterious transmission leak, here's your thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...his-thing.html

I put the transaxle and rebuilt torque tube back into position. Porsche engineers almost provided enough space to make this possible without a struggle.

Nice "barn" Karsten.

A lot of space.

A bit of cleaning and a little bit of paint and this would be a real nice place to take great pics!

Of 928s of course!

Just saying...

BTW, didn't do much with the car lately.
Still 2 feet of snow on the ground and quite cold, so...
But nice for skiing...

It´s also working space for the big ones.
Thx Bertrand,
it´s also the Home of my farm equipment so I think i´m pleased with the status now.
The left car was badly injured in an accident long time ago. The seller drove it, someone here in Germany bought it and my friend Jochen inspected the car
and come to the conclusion that the whole front of the car is out of line. Maybe 3 cm to the right!
So I bought it for my car with bad paint and a broken engine.
Then I do the work I make pictures.
