Installed a 12" Pyle speaker in the back. No more spare tire. Fabricated out hard wood. Cut hole in carpet which is fixed under a heavy duty speaker cover. Looks good. Sounds good, and can pack on top of it. Also constructed so it is easy get to the battery and rear wiring in the well.
Put a short shifter in the 'new' 928. Fixed the headlight problem - headlights wouldn't go up but would turn on once up and would go down. Changed relay with known good one - no change. Pulled out switch and cleaned contacts. Now it works!
Cleaned, polished and waxed her after rebuilding power steering pump last week. Crossing off a bunch of things on my to do list.
Put her in a local restaurant 'car show' and got 10% off at the Carolina Ale House in Deerfield Beach.
The other P cars were a Carrera GT and a 356. The rest were mostly American Muscle cars plus a couple of classic VW vans. There was a school of Barracuda's (5 new ones, but one old one - I think it was a '68).
Today i added a 12v solenoid valve with a custom timer chip to drain my Air oil separator for 1.5 min after the car starts, using the vacuum in the crank case from the vacuum pump system. no need to manually empty the tank... WOO!
