Great score Jeff. Kudos on the rare hide-away cup holder and seat back woofer.

I got that cupholder online around 10 years ago, if not more. They should still be out there. Nice because it blends in.

I forget where I got that subwoofer but I had another one in the same position that was too tall so you couldn't put the seat up. This one is flat and solid where you can put things on top of it and you can put the seat back up if you need to. Just adds enough bass to the stock speakers.

Yes, just enough.

Im building a list of things that are popping their heads up now too, F/R bearings, large cam cover leaks (refresh), shocks..might need adjusters which..are surprisingly expensive..and then check front end joints/fittings health.

Thank god I have a ton of spare parts..but still. Roger already has box(es) on the way.

The A28.16 LSD Trans at Greg's shop being rebuilt...

Every S4 costs $10k....

I just mailed out all the receipts I could find and I did find the speedo gear so sent that too. Yup, there is no such thing as a "cheap" 928 as you'll see from all the money I threw at it for 14 years. But it was fun to drive!

I did a question mark shaped (?)burnout. ...
Actually I was testing the security camera system of the lot that I drop my trailer at while at home. If they biotch about the burn out, but claim denial of video capture of the loss of my CORONA beer load, I may need an attorney.

Finally got her mostly together:

- Replaced the clamps on the intake sleeves
- Finished cleaning up the wire terminals for the starter and alternator
- Put the repainted sway bar back on
- Replaced the tranny fluid
- Cleaned up and remounted the heatshields
- Cleaned up front PS wheel well (it's actually red!)
- Reorganized the garage
- Got the right oil drain plug from Roger and ready for some Royal Purple
- Met some fellow 928'ers here in Chicago
- Put on the missing rubber boot for the reverse light sensor on the tranny
- Replaced the boots for the two oil sender wires...new ones are much more snug on the wire than the old one

It's amazing how much you can get done with the wife and kids are out of town!

Was really yesterday..but..removed the under trays, and all of the wheel arch covers as well.

New hatch and hook shocks today, and discovering a "good sized" leak in a cam cover that finds its way to the exhaust in hard turns and uphill use...time to send the spare bits to Rob in LA for PC work.

Going multi-coated gloss black and clear coat, lettering in yellow I think.

..I recommend going on Saturday, and paying cash. You'll get a discount..Sat is payday for the boss.

It was $400 with a healthy discount for the whole chassis and engine bay, and cleaning inside all of the wheels, trays, and liners since they were removed.

The non-cash price Ive become used to paying for the normal full chassis, no wheels, no liners..just chassis..is $300.
