I removed my oil pan, the bottom of the motor mount rabbit hole. Assembly will be the reverse of disassembly, right?

Finished next step in centre console refurb......replaced both tired window switches with new OE switches. What a difference, the switch movement is crisp and the windows even go a bit faster as a result. Worth the $80 for sure.

Next, fabricate some tiny brackets to replace the broken plastic tabs holding the ashtray in.

just keep swimming.................

Another productive weekend.

Got the left-rear engine bay corner put back together with new CMC (w/ modified piston), new BMC, and cleaned up booster and lines.

Got the right-rear engine bay corner put back together with new (used) expansion tank and new washer filler neck.

Put back the condenser, fan and a few other little bits.

Got the front suspension back together (mocked up) with new sway bar bushings and ball joint boots and a set of Bilstein/Eibachs. Waiting to pick up new locknuts before torquing it all down.

Coming along nicely

Ladybug -
Great work...worthy of it's own thread. Always inspiring to see what motivated owners can do.

Thank you sir but virtually no skills Wiscy. I do have lots of wire brushes, scouring pads, cleaning supplies, patience, a WSM and Rennlist!

Great progress, excellent attention to detail. I think that would all pass Greg's 'lickable' test.

Thanks Rob. You can lick her anytime you want, me and her have an "open" relationship.

I dunno, Cobalt might get jealous, she's not done with her makeover yet.

RE: what happened today, I got the bottom of the car (anything but lickable, unfortunately...) and front of the motor back together, just need an intake to make her run again.

If you bring her, she won't be jealous.

Today I wrote a dedicated Ladybug thread
