So what did you do to your 928 Today......

Fixed the AC V belt some how it got turned inside out, flat side riding on the pulleys,
checked and adjusted timing belt tension with the 9201 tool what a tight fit getting the tool on the belt,
initial reading was at 4 adjusted to 4.5,
new belt was installed last year before I bought it, has around 900 miles on it.

Installed my new RR shock ... went fairly easily. I found it was easiest to drive the pin out and put it back from back to front. There was a fair amount of corrosion but it cleaned up nicely with fine sandpaper. After putting 103 Ft-lbs on the bolts at either end, there is absolutely no play in there anywhere.
The other pin was very slightly bent in the center ... maybe half a mm from perfectly straight ... so I ordered a new one and that's why LR is still all apart.
I've really enjoyed the Bilsteins in front and look forward to having all four new ones in and working.

Started the Jalapeno to verify that I got the passenger cam cover seal leak to quit leaking. Success!
Removed the intake from the GTS due to a bad flappy. Removed the flappy actuator and verified it was the culprit. Bingo!
Now trying to decide whether to pull the cam covers and have them powder coated all at the same time. Decisions decisions.

"Performance Independent Porsche" on Fairmount Ave near Mission Gorge Road. I think it is referred to as Grantville down from Qualcomm stadium.
My best friend has a fleet service repair shop next to the Porsche shop. They have known each other for years and he helps my friend out with his track 911 and his other Porsche's.
Really nice guy, don't know about his shop from experience but he sure does a lot of work on many, many Porsche's and been there for years.

NICE Jon. The Pioneer radio I put in EURO85 has an input for an ipod...little did I know it was the USB port ON THE FRONT of the radio! I was/am a little miffed about that still. But I ran a USB/iPod cable from the arm rest and then cut a hole in the bottom of the ashtray and the other end lives there so it never sticks out more than about 6" or so, but still I would rather that I could have just plugged it in to the back of the radio and been done with it!

This weekend my friend Chris (Genikz) and I:
Engine out:
Oil Pan Gasket
Motor Mounts (converted to late mounts/929RUS Volvo mounts)
New Hood Release Cable
Removed Hood
New Clutch Master Cylinder and blue hose (what a pain with engine out/must be a nightmare with it in.)
Then, dropped the lump in.....
Today, removed viscous fan in anticipation for 928MS fan conversion.
