Got my care package from Roger Monday. Yesterday morning, after giving thanks for the parts I was about to partake, I did the WP/TB/tensioner rebuilt/cam front seals on my 81. It took me 2 Goodies and 4 cups of coffee before I could get out of bed this AM. The back ain't what it used to be.

^^ That's an interesting look! Some pictures from front and rear at a 45deg angle would help too.

Well today is about 80 deg. and dry as a bone. She is dressed now and turning heads. Odd for this date. It was 23 deg. night before last with a wind chill at 15 deg.

Took 100 mile drive up to Scarborough, Maine.

Great drive, picked up a 97 Carrera as we went over Kittery bridge into Maine and he followed me for next 35 miles. As I sped up to pass, he stayed right on my tail, must have looked pretty cool as we both hauled up the road. Both gave thumbs up as I exited turnpike.

Tomorrow, head up to Owlshead museum for foreign car and airplane festival, should be great drive up old Rt1. About another 100 miles up and then back to Scarborough tomorrow night. Should clock about 400 plus miles for the weekend.

Geez, I love this car!

Bob,
If I can get out of the junk my wife has planned for me, I'll take a cruise with my son and see you there. The weather is supposed to be great like today.

Took the 85 car on a cruise for a milkshake.
Talked to more people interested in 928 cars on this one trip than during a typical year in Richmond.

Round trip, about 800 feet. Never shifted out of 1st.

Craig, I'll be leaving Scarborough early so as not to have any traffic, makes for a better drive. Probably get there by 8:30 - 9:00 tomorrow morning. I'll buy coffee!
