.., sorry I can,t advise on your leak, good luck getting it sorted !.., but what intrigued me was that your car seems to have 3 vacuum connections going to the Heater control valve, mine has only one on top of the diaphram/cannister ?

Well, yesterday actually.. Bought a used center vent to steal the two adjusting vanes from so could do the below...

Basically made so both the top and bottom vents (and in fairness got the idea of being able to adjust both top and bottom independently for left and right) can be controlled left and right at the same time. I wanted it to look more stock and thus put the vanes with the **** on both left and right sides for top and bottom vents... Center vent does not move, glued it in place...

Makes air flow M U C H better to both sides since the top one puts out more velocity...

Wanted to take my 928 for an evening fun ride yesterday, but instead got a tail light warning - turns out passenger side back lights were out... Had to remove the tail light assembly and give all connectors a good rub with wire mesh and dielectric grease. Unfortunately by the time I finished putting them back in, it was too late for a ride...

Finally, after a long period of all kinds of time consuming issues (medical and professionel) i finally managed to fix something to my car. I put in new rearwheel bearings and put together the shocks and springs after giving them a nice coat of paint (yellow for the rear shocks and silver for the fronts, with nicely black powdercoated springs). Phew, I finally am back on track...

Fired mine up to move it so I could weld in a new exhaust system in my El Camino. This has been the worst year for things taking a dump around here! The way things are breaking, you'd think I was made of money.
Now the wife wants new furniture. I had to take her outside and explain that the big tree in the front yard is a Mondale Pine, and those things hanging on it are pinecones, it's not a money tree, and those aren't 100 dollar bills! WTF!!!!!

Kevin,
I really wanted to go, Greg, and Dan were gonna head up here and take the Polecat to Sharktoberfest. I blew the engine racing a Lambo, and I've got to work. Trying to trim down the USPS, and get my bonus.
Sorry to miss out this year. Dee & I really wanted to come down this summer and see you too, sorry buddy. We'll hook up later though.

Have a great time, drive safe.

PS Give Andrew our best!

Did some plastic welding on broken armrest then installed Peter Clark's armrest backing plates bought via Robert Budd - very pleased with the result, even if I added 900g to the car!

Have had some temp gauge fluctuations lately, so replaced the sender, and tightened the connectors. If it happens again, time to check the wiring....user the spider - yuk!

Yesterday I got an alignment ($83 at Les Schwab), then reinstalled the belly pans. Also, finally got around to fixing the Momo steering wheel hub so the horn would work.

Today went to the monthly EuroSunday car gathering...I was the only front engined Porsche in attendance.
