an excellent summary by my fellow "Richards"....and I do include "Richard" Thomas in that group as well.....

I need to relax a bit on the super duper fastest this and that & just go for pure FUN....leave the car in 3rd....put around the track at a leisurely pace, avoid wrecks and oil slicks and just have fun out there.... hopefully by the time I get in the car the field has thinned a bit allowing a bit more room, but we shall see...since I plan on going out for the 3rd stint...with the marks going out 1-2...

The norcal 928 contingent is planning on coming down for the race....so I hope we can get a good cheering group to represent the 928...and if they arrive in NICE 928's....then ours will look so crappy in comparison that it should better our odds of not getting the curse!!! Plus it never hurts to have some extra advice on how to fix whatever issue may arise...

I don't think you guys need that. Your creation reminds me of the machines in the Road Warrior.

I think that you should do that to someones GTS next, it would look better with the rear fender flares.

Richard Wolff
That looks pretty killer.....me likey.....we could just spray paint it red...but we might want to let it get a bit rusty to reduce our odds of getting crushed.....

I don't think you guys have any chance of being crushed (famous last words!) On the contrary, I think that as long as you aren't dicks out on the track, you've got a better chance of being the crowd favorite and getting as much or more attention than all of the other cars! I think car-people will really respect this effort, not resent it.

Just one guy's opinion...
