Before you dig into racing mods, ASK US HERE!!! kill switch is as easy as just interupting the fuel pump relay, on the low current side (secondary circuit) breaking the ground wire at the main kill switch. (main wires) as you found, just breakng the main ground doesnt kill the car. Now, what is done. sounds like , with doing the low current cut off installation, you may have zaped the ecu. what did you connect or what were you trying to do to kill the engine when running and breaking the ground connection?

No offense but we know perfectly well how to install a cut off switch, its a simple high load master switch that is placed between the battery+ and alternator output which removes all electrical power the the entire car, we've done it to dozens of Spec miatas and this is wired just as Brian Widow is. Its removing all the main + not ground. killing the fuel pump would slowly remove fuel pressure as the engine uses the fuel, the kill switch has to be instant by turning everything off.

this injection problem is somwhere else, like ive said its done this many times before but always in a different place, its just found a new weak link

You can have a ground interupt as well, as its easier to install. as far as the secondary, you can use the secondary circuit of the ECU or any of the relays that would control spark. Its not a spec miata, and its electrical is a little more sensitive, so be gentle .

It's running, the issue was a bad temp sensor.. Hp is up to 193 and tq is 243.. not bad for a crapbox!

all work will be finished today. car is nearly ready to rock.

all fixed...it was the tempII.....it was reading too high causing the L jet to flood the engine and kill it...

kinda funny we jumped the temp II with a small wire...car runs great....pull the wire....instantly dies???

How's the car holding up? Any LeMons updates.

Tried Jalopnik and just found out a BMW is leading but was hoping to see some 928 Estate news.

Respectable group of Norcal 928'ers showed up to support the Lemons 928. This race is a total riot! 156 cars entered, of all shapes, sizes, and colors. The 928 Shooting Brake was far from the most outlandish. And get this....60 or so drivers have never even been on a racetrack! But I must say, even though I expected the worse, the driving wasn't half bad. Or half good. Turn 11 was the place to be, wheels off practically every lap. The 928 looked like it was handling great compared to the other cars. Anderson had no problem passing most everything.

Here's a funny story...the 928 was missing for several laps, so we figured it came into the pits with a problem. Actually, Anderson was caught passing under yellow flag, and was penalized. His penalty? He had to get out of the car and write "I will not pass under yellow" 100 times on the car!

This race rocks!

So, at the end of the first day, how far back is the Estate? Does it look like they have a shot to win?

They ended the day in 30th. Not bad after starting near the back of 150 cars, plus a 20 minute penalty.

My stint was a blast. Drove 4 th the entire time , low revs and had some great battles in traffic w the fAstest cars. Clint passed under yellow after my stint and we got another 30 min penalty
