(from OT) sample question:
at 215 mph as the final Nos stage triggers you hear a funny noise coming from the rear of the cabin, glancing in your rear view mirror you see one of your football buddies having sex with his girlfriend, do you: a) continue to watch...

That's ALL Bret needs as he's busy enough threading a street car through the runway at 200mph+ is to ponder whether or not to watch or to turn the incar video camera around.

From what I understand the large 928 used parts houses get in too many 16v motors and have to send some to the chippers from time to time. Worst case this will do the same thing, but in a much more fun way.

And if it blows, there are a lot of cheap ob replacement engines out there...
Cheaper than an s4 engine at least.
So if he blows it up, he will know what broke, so he can build a stronger one for next time.
The Nitrous system will still be intact and ready to install on the next engine.
He can build one with lower compression, stronger rods, pistons, etc...

If it does blow lol....I can get a rebuilt S2 engine for around £1200 ($2600 ?)
I would put that in as a daily runner while I rebuilt the old one specifically for Nitrous (low compression pistons etc etc)...
Then once built to my own specs I could add some SERIOUS Nitrous

Hi Nick
I will tune on road, its too powerful now for a dyno, and that sort of dyno run would almost certainly break my engine...
Fuel delivery will be resolved during road/track testing...
All the best Brett
