If someone puts 10's on the front of an 87 or newer, please post the biggest tire size that you can use without rolling the finders or always driving in a straight line. Same question for 8's with 50 offset.

Thanks
Rod

How much camber do you want to run? Want to swap to early lower A-arms?

I'd like to change as little as possible. Nothing would be perfect.

Is this weird, 8 of mine came from Wisconsin and 4 from Arizona. I guess they just like to haul them around.

I checked my credit card account this evening. America's Tire placed a charge on my credit card. I have not received a tracking number nor a call from them. I am hoping that they were able to secure the wheels for me with Discount Tire.

I was the first person to place my order online with Discount Tire after reading this email thread. Apparently, ordering through the Discount Tire Center website did not mean the order was actually finalized even though I received an order confirmation by email yesterday morning.

I called Discount Tire to inquire about my order since the website had not asked for payment info when I placed the order online. I have just learnt Discount Tire forwarded my order request to America's Tire (the place where I designated the delivery point). Someone in this particular America's Tire store still had to place the actual order into the system.

So, Discount Tire bumped me to America's Tire during the call. This America's Tire store has just taken my credit card details. (I wondered if anyone would have called me for my credit card info to finalize payment if I had not called them). They are going to place the order today. There looks to be a strong possibility that I may actually not get the wheels since some folks on this thread are already getting "out of stock" notifications.

Actually, I hope not. I'm hoping they will fit everything, but if not, then "maybe"...

Another attactive option is to look for another 928, but if my wife reads this, I'm a dead man or at least seriously injured..

I hope no one got screwed because I paid for those like 3 days ago already and the seller never took the auction down. We made a deal outside of the auction for $50 bux a wheel plus shipping.

Interesting. I emailed the seller probably around when you did and got no response. Someone finally put a bid in on the first pair yesterday afternoon. I bought the third one they had for sale.

I just got an email back from wheelenhancement.com about 18x8 et50 replicas. $285 per wheel. No thanks. If someone finds a reasonable source for the fronts, please post the info.

I haven't heard from her since I paid! I asked for an update several times and still nothing from her! I hope this doesn't get ugly...

Below is the email I got from her accepting my offer.

"Yes, that is fine. You can make payment through Paypal to
sdsdurrant@xxxxx.net
Please remember that I do have to ship to the confirmed address shown in Paypal. As soon as payment is made your order will be processed and I will send you the UPS tracking #'s as soon as UPS has the order for shipping.
Thanks,

Please choose the "Reply" button when cooresponding so that I know any information from previous conversations.

Thank you for your order or interest.

Have a nice day!

Sharon"
