Thanks Mike! That helps a lot!

Next issue is the throttle cable pull.

Can you fellows post a few pics of what you ended up with? I'm nervous about the pulley that results in an angled pull line to the throttle-body...........

Brian: Do you need one of my brackets? I promised a bunch but got busy and have lost track of who.

I'm just wondering what everyone has come up with..........

I'm considering a 2-pulley cable guide...... but I don't know where to look for another pulley wheel....

Here's what I did. This is the original bracket and works with Autorotor and Jag/Eaton.

Post #896 starts a discussion on the throttle bracket. Bill led the way on the trek for a smooth throttle

Can I make a simple request? Please refer to the post number - not the page as you can set how many posts show per page. I have mine set to 40 posts per page which makes for easier reading IMHO. Thanks.

One other thing... you can set your options to show the newest posts first or the oldest posts first - which would mess up the use of pages even more.

Oops, hadn't thought that one out. Bills post #896 starts the discussion and it goes on for a few pages.

Brian:

There are several types/sizes. Get the ones with ball bearings, not bushings...

The ones I use are D-1506 (Prime-Line) 1.5 inch nylon with ball bearings. There are brass wheel, but nylon wears well and is probably better for the cable. I'm still on the original set.

Keep us posted on your progress/any issues.

Does anyone have the part number for the gasket that sits on top of the intake manifold that the injector sits in? Sorry for the poor sentence structure.I'm running the AK Eaton set up. I'm looking at getting some aluminum seats machined to replace them. They seem tp be made of ordinary rubber and degrade with fuel and oil. I also noticed oil in the intake which surprised me since I have to atmosphere ventilation.
Thanks,
Rick

You noticed oil INSIDE the intake? I misunderstood your PM to me. I thought you meant in the valley (and the only source for that would be the oil filler).

Strange you should metion this, because I too noticed a coating of oil inside the manifold. It was also in the the intake adapter at the rear of the SC unit. I am puzzled by this too. It does not appear to be coming from the air filter (K&N oil) because the track is clean further up. So, somehow it is blowing back from the heads through the SC or the SC bypass. Or what else? Bizarre. Makes no sense to me. Anyone else?

I don't know the source of the rubber injector boot that Andy used. Nice to know thery are not tolerating fuel too well. Mine still look OK, but we do need a source or an alternative. Mike S?

I just ordered a set of the injector boots from 928 Specialists, thanks DR. I'm looking into having some aluminum machined that the injectors will fit into using o-rings to seal instead of the rubber boot set up.

What about the oil from teh supercharger? This is the only oil that I can think of that could "contaminate" the air.

Rick:

Let us know about the aluminum adapters. We might have several interested parties that could get a decent volume going for reduced cost per.
