Why is everyone getting so riled up over what someone said? I realize many Americans have very, very strong feelings about the topic of terrorism and 9/11 etc., but still what happened to the whole "sticks and stones will break by bones but words will never hurt me?"
Do I support what this guy said, no, but that doesn't mean we have to flaunt hatred because we don't agree. Responding to hatred with more hatred just does not work. Its pretty simple principle, sorta like how you fall down not up.

I kinda feel torn about not helping him. NO I DO NOT AGREE WITH HIS IDEAS ON THIS. However, I am here for Porches, not politics or any other reason. Yes, I do participate in some off topics, but the reason this is pretty much the only forum I visit at all, is the P-cars. I'm not going to sit here and rant about how much pain I would inflict on anyone who threatens life liberty or the pursuit of happiness and the American way. I'm here for the cars, I'll share my other inexperienced ideas from time to time. I'd rather him just be deported and share the P-car love from some other country. Jut me tho.

Funny, free speech rights can only be denied by the government. This board or any other does not have to honor "free speech rights". If someone says something and gets the boot, well that's just the way it goes.
The Constitution and Bill of Rights were written to protect citizens "from" the government. There are consequences to what one says.

I might be harassed for saying this but...
There is a shred of truth in his post. Most of the world views the US as a bully willing to trample over their rights for its own convenience or safety.
And they have good reasons (in some cases) to feel this way. The US foreign policy designed to contain communism has given military and financial support to some very bad people: the Shah of Iran, Hussein, Noriega, bin Laden (when he was a Muhajadin fighting the Soviets), the White Hand in Guatemala and the Contras to name just a few. At the time, the US knew that all of these people were despots or despot wannabees, but the human rights of foreigners has never been a priority in the State Department.
Can you think of another country where the government launched a preemptive attack against a non-threatening nation, because it didn't like the other nation's government? I can think of a few, but they're not the kind of nations I'd like mine to be classified with.
US foreign policy is indirectly responsible for the deaths of thousands, if not millions, since WWII.
The US is not the world benefactor that many of its citizens believe it to be.
None of that justifies killing innocents, but it does help explain why many people and countries feel and act the way they do.

nine-44 has a point about the helping him bit.
If we stopped helping everyone here who has things in their personal lives that we don't agree with, this site would be useless. I'm pretty sure many people here have secrets that, if we found out about them, would make some not want to help them.
I'm torn also on wether we should refuse help to this guy. I know I won't offer any help without an apology for his insensitivity and inappropriateness - that's for sure!
