Well I have a pretty long commute and tend to end up behind trucks hauling gravel
Maybe its necessity evolved into appreciation. I do think it looks nice and retro though. Oh well. I'm not apologizing for my weird tastes!

The 944 was the first car I ever saw a car bra on as a kid. I thought Porsche came up with it. I grew up thinking that other car owners got them to look cool...like a Porsche. The 944 is the only car I ever thought looked good with a bra. I was disappointed when I found out how much bras are frowned upon....guess Ive weird taste too

I have taken a whole weekend in the past...meguires cleaner..then polish...then swirl remover...then two waxings....lots of work!
It is a cheap re-spray single stage. It was terribly done...so wet sanding would quickly cut the ozidized layer? Never done it before...

search my name with keyword "weekend", I tried buffing with a high speed rotary, heavy cutting compoind (3M), only glossed the nasty paint...
My pics on that thread show the hood after buffing, then wetsanded, then buffed again! once I buffed after the WS, I stood there looking at it and decided to go ahead and do the entire car.. took a day to sand at 1000, then 1500, then pollish and wax... use LOTS of water with a little bit of soap in it, and remember with wetsanding it can't be too wet...

Stunning John. I may be employing those same techniques. My paint is almost exactly the same.
I put my stock chip back in after using the rogue tuned emissions chip.
Burning out that E85, and now adding premium fuel she feels like a rocket.
Stick it Air Care Colorado!!

Clear-bra is the way to go! I've got it on the front of my 08 Corvette. No worries about rocks and stuff anymore.
This weekend, I started the reassembly of my motor. Still need to paint the cam housing, then put it back on...hope to have it running again by the end of next weekend.
