What did you do to your 924/944 today

Burning Brakes
I got them from 944online, came off a '98 Boxster. There is some minor curbing on one and a few nicks, but they're in pretty good shape for being 11 years old and I got a good deal.

Drum roll please.......
I GOT MY N/A RUNNING and took it for a drive for the first time in a year and a half... turned out to be an over tensioned belt, and a few other things...
Installed silly-cone vacuum lines on her.
Installed NEW fog light housings.
cleaned her up a bit.
Cleaned up the engine bay "while I was in there"
Installed my original 951 wheels on the N/A.. big difference...
Actually had a good day of wrenching, sorting and playing with the N/A.. forgot how fun and easy it was to wrench on.. and how much fun it is to drive...
Tomorrow MIGHT bring new fuel lines to her... MIGHT...

I am gonna have a body shop fix the rear fender, PS side door trim, and chips..that way the body will be 100%.. replaced clutch about 2 years (10K miles) ago, and did a bunch of other maintenance then... now it just needs the body work and a new carpet set.. everything else is working (even the clock!)

if i had a 951 i would probably buy a clean NA for the hand-me-down parts as well.
after i got the ac, power steering, and charcoal canister system out of my 924s it actually became pretty easy to work on.

I had forgotten how easy the N/A of the breed is to work on...

Started reading thru the WSM manual again for information on my engine rebuild, realized I missed a spot when putting loctite 574 on the crankshaft girdle. Fortunately I haven't gotten the oil pump or pistons installed yet so it won't take too long to fix.

Good catch, it needs to be there for the oil galleys in the block to seal....
