Well I figured that. It was in the bag of bolts I removed from under the cowling, but I can't figure out where it went. I didn't see any obvious locations inside the blower motor box or the area around it.

I hope I didn't screw it up. Help! I was adjusting the belt tension and loosened the tensioner before going to tdc. How do I get everything aligned again? If this was already discussed or you can point me in the right direction it will be appreciated. I didn't move it far but I know the belt slipped on the bottom cam gear when went to turn it to TDC.

Installed new flat panel LED in the dome light. I can actually see things in the car now at night.
I found them here http://www.ebay.com/itm/151613698057?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
they fit perfectly under inside the stock dome light and even have the correct mount to feed power from the old bulb socket to the light. It took about 5 minutes to complete.

drove it for the first time in over a month.
finally had time to put the car back together after my saga of snowballing work.
fresh AOS seals, new speed sensor, all hoses under manifold replaced with new...runs good so far.
i am going cautiiously on it for now in case anything else pops up.
going to install a WBO2 when i find a good spot to steal power from...im thinking of tapping the idle air valve power wire since it is always +12v with fuel pump running.

Today I made a makeshift cabin filter so I don't have to clean a bunch of leaves, dirt, and bugs out of the HVAC box again.
I started out with a filter for an 01 Jetta that I got at work. I got a fancy one with carbon to absorb all of the diseases that might try to enter my car
Then I cut it to fit inside the metal grates
Success! No more dirt and diseases for me!
