It's super simple to regrease the front wheel bearings. You can inspect the races for wear at the same time. The bearing modules themselves simply fall out when you remove the hub and the dust seal, and you can re-pack them with new grease in the palm of your hand.

Drove her. After a year and half or more, of trying to fix her, she is back on the road. I had issues after a mechanic I trusted put a junior mechanic on my car and stuffed it up. They fitted dual port on backwards. This caused massive boost spikes which essentially killed my AFM.

I then decided to go full M tune including new ECU. Being on the other side of the planet and despite Joshua's best efforts, we couldn't get this system to work and that cost me a lot of money, apart from just the cost of the hardware. Serious money.

I decided to abandon this set up and went a VEMS set up instead, as this car was my daily, and I wasted too much time(and money) trying to get it working.

Started first time with VEMS, and although I have only driven car twice, she is purring. So happy to be behind the wheel again and can't wait to get system fully sorted.

Yes I got the PnP set up. Had to grind off a tab where it plugged into DME harness but other wise it was very straight forward. I think the donor connector may have been off a 911 rather than a 944 but wasn't an issue as very easily fixed.

Cheers Tiger. Starting to feel like I am back home again behind the wheel. Car was carrying on a bit(coughing and spluttering) this morning, as I hadn't run autotune yet. It was still perfectly drivable. I ran out of time this morning, so I did it on my way home and car felt a lot smoother. I am not sure I have done it right but will do some research tonight, and see how she runs tomorrow. I have the day after off, so can spend some time playing.

Ran autotune yesterday and burned it to VEMS via Bluetooth. Car purred like a kitten all the way to work. Still needs dyno as I think it is still running a bit rich but very happy atm

Yeah I am very impressed with how well she is running after using autotune. I still have a slight glitch. When I started her this morning she coughed once but immediately settled into a perfect idle and ran like a dream. Tonight to come home(after post above), when I started her she was running rough, and coughing. I had to restart her a cpl of times. I let her run for a few minutes(still struggling to idle) and then turned her off. When I restarted she idled and then drove, perfectly. I am wondering if it is related to a sensor or the wideband being cold or just sensor(S/R) poorly synced ?

Doesn't VEMS have "chargetemp" ( cold start) ?

We have to adjust this upp in Norway.
