Spent most of my day under the 944 removing the transmission and I forgot I unplugged the clutch slave cylinder when I told my dad to push the clutch... pop... now I need a slave cylinder. Still need to remove the transmission though right now it is on a transmission jack. I was thinking about turning the crank to hopefully turn the torque tube (inside) to get that second bolt. Does that work? I gave up working on it today I feel like for every 2 steps I make forward I screw something up and have to go back 1 and a half steps.

Yeah I want yellow also... if it looks silly I'll just repaint them. Wish same he had a pick of a white 944 with yellow calipers for me to see.

Not today but last Saturday. A nice drive to the beach on the weekend. My favourite road as it takes me near my folks place. Traffic was pretty light considering the weather and the New Year period.
Oh, also Zena Warrior Princess, Hercules and Legend of the Seeker tv series were all filmed near Muriwai

After buying the car (1987 S) in August with a broken head I finally got time
to get the head together and on, it runs! Not well mind you but run it does.

It will fire and run for a couple min before it loads up with fuel and stalls,
guessing either a stuck FPR or some leaky injectors. Also have a fuel leak
on the return hose that comes and goes. It's still making a lot of noise,
waiting on the lifters to pump up. Oil pressure looks good though.

Besides the running issues I need to put the balance shaft belt on, belts for
PS and AC and fill it with coolant, then I get to go for a ride and see what else is broken LOL

Get the fuel leak fixed ASAP! The return line runs directly above the exhaust headers and can start a fire.
