I made a start on refurbishing my Fuchs

after a little polishing I found there was shiny stuff underneath

a few hours later

It is definitely going to be a lot of work doing it myself, but I am not in hurry and the price is right
peace

Very nice Dave.

Came back from a ride out, opened the hood and noticed the upper radiator hose bulging to the point of exploding. Time for a big mess! No rides for while.

Thanks! I just got back from a drive in the local hills. Plenty of cyclists and other Pcars out today. The car handles amazing and sticks forever. I 'll have to tighten the Koni's a bit now that the car has some grip.

I bought it and drove it home from Nashville to Dallas. Day one of ownership. Epic checkmark for my life box.

How was the drive? Any problems? I know you were prepared for almost everything...

Installed new DOT braided lines from LR, complete flush of brake fluid... pedal is real solid now. Installed the right-front inner fender (had been out for fuel line replacement since rebuild), installed new wheel center caps off eBay.

Going to PCA track TT at MotorSport Ranch in Cresson this weekend. Life is good!

I remember my first day like it was yesterday

Off-topic - are you a member of the car lounge? Name looks familiar.

Thanks! Honestly I don't know what brand they are.
I got them from a friend who put his stock wheels back on when he traded in his 968. I'll check the next time I have them off.

FYI they rub the fenders a little since my car is lowered and the tires are 1/3" larger diameter than stock. A little fender rolling should take care of it. No spacers for my late offset car.

Dave, is that a Speedhunters sticker on your 3/4 window? If so, I have one in EXACTLY the same spot.
