Washed and gave it a thorough cleaning, and put her away for the winter... Time to start the winter projects!

spent hours cleaning the engine bay...prepping it for paint. I had NO IDEA how dirty a 23 year old engine bay could be!

Spence...my car looks surprisingly similar to your leftmost picture...except mine still has frame rails in it!

What are you doing btw?

crashed in september, bent the frame rails forward of the shocks. rest of car is straight...re-making a front end to fit the turbo nose, but with some modifications.... more pics as project progresses.

neato, that's what i thought you were doing but i wasn't sure of all of the steps. If i were you i would take this opportunity to go WIDERRRRRRRR (yes all of those "r's" were necessary)

for my contribution...today i did NOTHING to my car...didn't even order parts for it. Everyone needs a break every once in a while right?

Talking

Finally moved the Porsche into the garage at the new (to me) house. Once I get the rest of the garage put away, I get to change the front wheel bearings... they're gettin' kinda noisy.

sanded the entire engine bay yesterday, paint should come soon this week! Still gotta grind down some drilled out spotwelds, body putty them smooth, then sand them down a bit, then prime and paint!
