Drained out all of the gas, er oil, er gasoil from the engine. a bad AFM pouring tons of fuel = washed engine. Put in some el-cheapo oil and going to run the engine for a bit to get it good and flushed.

so yesterday I drove all day...drove around LA with my kids doing errands and a bit of amusement....car was running beautifully....had lots of fun....
today I went to take the girls to the library I got about 2 miles from home took a turn and stalled.
Now my gas gauge has been a bit sticky on and off lately...and Ive a nonfunctional odometer so...I tapped the tank and I thought it sounded dry...
A careless mistake on my part...Im usually pretty good about keeping her full...so we walked 1/2 mile to the gas station....and half a mile back....gassed her up...and NOTHING.
Gave it a minute and tried again.
NOTHING
Was considering a tow when my girls chimed in..."what about the little black box daddy?"
opened the glovebox...swapped the dme relay with my spare.
Crossed my fingers....
FIRED RIGHT UP!
So to any of you who arent carrying a spare...get one
it might not be today...
it might not be tomorrow...
but when it happens to you...youll be patting yourself on the back for the forethought.
Im off to order another spare.... have fun guys

Put in my new reference sensor and the new LR ref and spd sensor harness. She's alive, tach bounced for a split second, fired right up.

like doug said, prepped my hood to be painted black to match the rest of the car (finally)
also installed a corvette fuel rail so my fuel lines enter and exit the rail at the passenger side where the porsche system did, instead of the opposite side like the old rail.
oh and doug worked on getting 5X7's into the back speaker area of my car
