It is my first time owning a car with buckets.
I think I figured out getting in, but I still struggle to get out without stressing on the bolster or accidently kicking the door jam. I am 30 and just a "little" overweight (BMI 26), don't quite picture myself as too fat.
Do you all have a reliable way to get out?
Seat all of the way back, door wide open, left hand on sill, start with right hand on outside of steering wheel (10 o'clock), then in a fluid motion left leg out the door lift out of the seat keeping center of gravity low, right leg providing support and lift along with left hand, as your body crosses the sill the weight transfers to the left leg and a very slight pressure on the wheel keeps the process moving.
I will add that the exit routine is way easier with the roof open and really tough if you are parked on an uphill incline of any significance.

I bought a memory foam seat wedge for the passenger side since the first question from most of my guests after sitting down is invariably "is this seat adjustable". Then I tried it myself for driving and I'm sold - improves sightlines, comfort, and egress significantly. For spirited driving I would unwedge it but I find the seating position with buckets in SRS to be noticeably lower than my 2-way sport on my Spyder so I'm good with it for casual driving. If I was serious about it I would get the P1 design custom inserts or the tilting bracket but its a nice low stress option for now..
Finally all PPF wrap and register, drove the first 150 km yesterday, simple awesome even at bellow 5K will do an 1000Km trip and then i can share more driving impressions.
-main "feature" should be the sound i guess just after 2300rpm you get that hollow sound something like Carrera GT(JWW video)
-it looks more like a supercar that a 992 GT3 Touring
-very nice on corners
-suspension is quieter/smoother over hard bumps

Awesome 4RS, black callipers is the way to go on SY, i was gonna do a callipers switch with the ones from my green GT3, but will leave them like this for now since i want to wrap the GT3 in Gulf Orange.
I got my SRS about a month ago, and it is by far the best, most engaging car I've ever driven - previous Porsches Iv'e owned 1) 2001 Boxster S 2 )2007 991.1 CS cabrio 3) 991.1 CS 4) 2022 Spyder 5) 2022 Macan S 6) 2024 SRS - SRS is a unicorn car that is made with all of the best bits and pieces from 718's and 911's - Handling is is insane. Having the rotation point of a mid engine car makes driving so much more fluid. Don't have to wait for the suspension to load up as with 911's. You have to be very cognitive of that rear end ballast, in 911's it will bite you - The sound is so so so nice. Even driving slow, you hear that sweet humm of that engine. Low gurgling in the town, and then full lunacy when you are in the canyons. And in my opinion, it is NOT too loud. It is perfect - I actually prefer the roof of the SRS to the Spyders. I take off the rain portion in the rear and cruise w the bimani top on, windows down. You get the airflow of a convertible, but you not going to fry your head on hot sunny days. The noise is actually best this way. The top directs the sound to you - The engine....it is a different beast than the regular Spyder. It is just glorious. The power difference is very noticeable, it real. You are now in super car league. I am not intimidated by any car. Please pull up next to me. Please please try to keep up with the RS in the canyons. I want to see what the front of your car looks like in my rear view mirror - Finally the look. This car is stunning. It is tough, it is pretty, and it is unique,
I would not trade my SRS for any car, any manufacturer. Nothing will give you the experience of this car. Break in period done. Time to Rally and let her run

My initial spec was relatively simple non Weisssach silver and it’s already ballooned to a shark WP with everything but Mag wheels. Seeing this though, You’re gonna make me order a $300k Boxster once markup and taxes are accounted for LOL
I just took delivery this evening, had to work late but made it to the dealer in time to take delivery. Honestly love it, the shark blue definitely appears darker than the Turbo S in shark blue I saw in the showroom. I think the black bits really break it up and bring the shade down a couple of notches which is perfect.
My drive home was 5 miles on local roads so I can't do a complete review but I wanted to post because going into this I was worried it was going to be too loud and still too stiff for the road. The car is so smooth, I have a Touring and a Targa GTS and honestly on the way home through local roads at 30-45 mph it was so much better than both the other ones. The RS magic as usual.
I'm bringing it in tomorrow for PPF and will have better feedback but just the drive home was so surprising I thought I would post it. The suspension is really just that good and the noise is NOT TOO LOUD for cruising around town. Still skeptical about doing a 10 hr road trip but we will see soon..

There is thick factory PPF behind the front wheels in the cut out section. I left mine there and had Xpel 10mil put on top. I was warned they’d be a small line there as covering an edge…but It doesn’t bother me.
There is also factory PPF on the leading edge of intakes. Same comments as above.
The chassis is sublime. Somehow they made it incredibly compliant and yet tightened it all up. Very sharp.
I’ve driven in all three configurations, noise for me not an issue. Will say that with just the sunshade on at 9K it penetrates to your core. Best top off…comparably quiet. Don’t know if the rake different from 982 Spyder, but air management seems better.

I'm so glad you said something I was so panicked on the ride home but youre right its there...I may have my vendor just apply extra thick PPF on the whole front fender..will see tomorrow
