I did ppf and then added a ppf stripe similar to factory so I can peel and change the stripes once a year

It's finnaly done... Satin PPF, tint, windshield protection. CA central coast, natural habitat for the Spyder RS.

Absolutely incredible drive along the coast with the bikini top configuration. WIth some AC breeze it is not too hot.
Very surprised on the comfort level as well. Didn't feel much difference in comfort between this and my old GTS.

^ Awesome! I never even thought about the satin wrap with Vanadium Grey... Looks great! Do you have any close up pics or more pics?

Congrats, it looks great.
I only ever use Bimini top also. Works great even in the rain. Heater on below 60F & AC on above 80F.

quick question, are there pre-marked drill holes for the front license plate brackets from the factory?

They aren't really holes but more like marks where the mounting screws are supposed to go. I wouldn't have noticed but my PPF has noticeable bumps where it stretches over these marks.

I thought someone started to install the front bracket and stopped.. it's annoying in that they are inconsistent. one of mine is deeper than the other..

More like pre-formed dimples that get amplified by the paint in the case of jlee504. On a side note my paint was horrible. Sanding marks all over it and lots of nibs that were sanded down and not sanded down. It wouldn't surprise me if they are having an issue in the paint section of the assembly plant. It was one of the worst I've seen. My 991.1 GT3 did not have these same issues. Most are covered with the PPF and most people won't notice, but there are nibs that created a "bubble" in the film.
