yep thats what I figured will happen when the PPF goes on..odd I've never seen this, why don't the 911s have it?
the 25 mile drive to the PPF shop was amazing..sooo smooth. I can see driving this a lot more than my Touring..which makes me really wonder what to do with that car.. you can feel the weight difference when the SRS accelerates..the slower steering also makes it easier to drive..
I’ve had the car for a couple of weeks. Still in break in but can tell it’s going to be fun. It’s a car that needs to be driven up in the rev range. More so than my 3RS. Despite the similar engine and weight the 3RS feels more lively in the lower rev range. The SRS sound comes alive above 5K and is pretty tolerable on a long drive lower in the rev range. Suspension is much softer than the 3RS but it still handles quite well on the road. I haven’t driven a 4RS to compare. The roof is easy. I can do it by myself without any trouble. I did get the spyder cover and use that to keep dust out in the garage or even if I’m parking on the street under a tree or something like that. It’s a joy to drive on the street in most situations. just as a plug for the 18 way seats, I didn't realize they were completely covered in race-tex, bolsters too. it makes them very grippy and I'm so happy I got them over the buckets even though they look so much cooler

Love it and the color/hood stripe. I think the full CF hood is a bit too Honda Boy while the free painted hood takes away the "specialness".
Both are arctic grey. Had a hard time with this spec. Didn’t get a PTS slot and didn’t love any of the stock colors. Decided to match my 3RS but do blue wheels vs. the red. I actually really like how it turned out. Deep sea blue seat belts go very well with the indigo wheels.

I’m already at minimum rate on engine oil on my SRS which rode 6000 kms. I never experienced that with another car, my other Porsche (992 C2S) did 30000 kms+ without consuming oil. Do I have to worry ? Or is it usual for this particular engine?

normal in GT3 engine it depends the use, the car but nothing to be concerned

These cars consume a bit of oil during run-in.
Did you check your oil level on pick-up? Mine came indicating half full. 1300 miles in and no oil use.
Even if you went through a liter, I wouldn’t think outside the norm.

Normal, my dealer said there's a bulletin stating these engines can consume 1qt per 1000 miles and that's still within spec. Only if it consumes 2 qt's within 1000 miles is it out of spec.
