I’ve had mine for a week and a half now. 1150km (715 miles) on the car now. Picked up with only 12km (7,5 miles) on the clock which was nice. Mine is Vanadyum grey with Weissach package (with stripe on hood) and black wheels. Carmine red stitching inside, regular black roof and quite a bit of options.

First emotions I felt when I saw the car was relief and joy. I had a hard time speccing this car, and considered many different builds. I was so happy with how the car looked. The spec is perfect, and I wouldn’t change a thing about it - it’s a beautiful car in every angle, but under good lighting and good angle it looks better than a lot of supercars. The PDLS lights are great, I like their look and the brightness is superb. The FAL makes daily driving a breeze, and the suspension is surprisingly nice as well. My fiancee drives with me most of the time, and she is absolutely loving the car and thinks it’s a keeper. It’s our first convertible and it’s impossible to beat a convertible experience in the summer. Roof is difficult for the first time, but gets pretty easy quickly and to be honest, I actually enjoy and appreciate how it works. The sound is amazing, I definitely don’t feel the need to change the exhaust. I’ve limited myself to 7k rpm, but today hit 8k once - it’s an experience for sure. Very loud, in a good way, and fits the car well. I haven’t driven a 4RS, but I think the intakes alone will make this car legendary. Can’t wait to launch it and rev it out once I get to 1500km and drive-in is done.

Mine surprisingly came with a GT4RS front lip which looks really good, but will be changed to Spyder RS front lip by dealer through warranty. If it didn’t say “GT4RS” on it, I might have not noticed something was wrong as it looks so-so nice. Oh well, probably still wise to change to correct lip for proper aero.

It's comical in the array of errors that they are making on SRS builds. Yes, mistakes happen but that's why there's QC inspection before vehicles leave factory floor. It's almost as if they are rushing them out the door and then fix whatever that needs fixing after delivery a la Big 3 circa 1970's

It happens when Porsche is hitting or trying to hit 2,000+ SRS's, 2,000+ 4RS's, 5,000+ 992 GT3's, 2,000+ 992 3RS's along with having to build S/T's for North America. Quality control starts to slip, also doesn't help that the SRS/4RS is now made in a lower tier factory than Zuff compared to the 2023 built ones.

Maybe they’ll “accidentally” install some brown leather CXX seats in my car…

I think lips are installed at the PDI. It come with a bunch of aero parts in the passenger seat, it is probably post main QC. Whoever is packing the car made a mistake in germany.

Can you share pics? If I get my chance, I think I'd spec very similar with Vanadium and black/red interior, would really like to see real world pics.

It is my first time owning a car with buckets.
I think I figured out getting in, but I still struggle to get out without stressing on the bolster or accidently kicking the door jam. I am 30 and just a "little" overweight (BMI 26), don't quite picture myself as too fat.
Do you all have a reliable way to get out?

Plant right foot, turn to your left and lean over, left hand on door sill, right hand on steering wheel at about 10:30-11 o’clock, lift your weight with your left hand while pushing off with your right foot and right hand; your left arm will lift most of your weight over the side of the seat bolster, left foot lands on ground, right foot comes out of the car.

Left hand on door sill, right on center console...lift weight up and swing legs over. I briefly partially rest ON the bolster, but there isn't much dragging across it.
