Look, ma! Another Rennlist acronym!

“Where, Johnny?”

“Right there, ma!”

”Why, Johnny… that’s not an acronym. Those are just three letters next to each other!”

”Why is that, ma?”

“Because nobody knows what it means!”

Whichever seat one picked for him/herself is always the right one.

It is a little bit like ordering steak at a seafood restaurant, but if one wants steak then he/she shall have steak.

Yes, he posted in this very thread with pics couple weeks ago. It's the same car featured in Nick Murray's recent video.

That particular PTS color is one of two that are discontinued due to "difficulty to match" so it appears he broke Porsche's paint dept LOL

I might have considered the sofas if it had a ventilated option. I'm only ever driving it on nice days so heated doesn't appeal to me. I like the buckets in my GT4 and also that I can easily swap out the cushions for a more personal look which was a bonus.

After a few hundred more miles, can share a more textured comparison to the 992 GT3:

- You're going to touch the car a lot getting the top on and off. I'd strongly recommend full PPF so you don't freak out when you inevitably drop a part of the roof on the car. It's happened to me a few times and I've reminded myself that it's all covered in PPF so nothing will scratch and it's no big deal. I actually got my PPF installer to cover the carbon roll bars too. You'll definitely touch the tonneau cover a lot too - it's nice that the ceramic and PPF don't keep finger prints.
- The car is the perfect size for backroads. I find that I have the room to avoid potholes and bumps on really narrow roads in the Bay area that felt harder in the 992 for some reason (I know they're close in size but the 718 feels smaller)
- I love the analog dashboard compared to the 992. I don't need to sign in to the car and bluetooth never fails, just get in and drive
- It's a lot more fun than a GT3 - the noise, the wind, and the size make it a way more fun car on the street. 10/10 have no regrets about parting with the GT3 for my use case.
- There's also less grip and traction in the rear - which makes it a little more challenging to drive but fun in a good way.
- I parked next to a 4RS and GT3 this morning and it definitely looks more subtle / gets less attention - which is a feature for me. It looks like a Boxster to most people.
- The fuel tank is tiny and I need to do a lot more refuels than the 23.7.
- It's a much more fun car at legal speeds - it doesn't feel as impatient or fussy when driving regularly
- The suspension is really settled - it's better than my 992 GT3 and my 991.2 GT3 - feels like the perfect car for American quality backroads. My mom and wife both claimed that it was a lot more comfortable.

Overall, this is probably my favorite GT car for the road. Will likely be in the permanent collection.

The San Marino Blue car that Porsche brought to Rennsport Reunion last year had magnesium wheels in satin aluminum.

I know, just talking about the visual impression, doesn't have a strong satin look from these pics
