mine went into production a week after the app stated.
And now my car isn’t even showing in app. Dealer says all on track.
sometimes I think it better to not have access to this pre delivery info…

Just took delivery today! The car is amazing as described/expected and Underberg green looks spectacular. While babying it the ride is actually surprisingly quiet - I don't think it is much louder than what my 718 Spyder was. There seems to be a large difference in character of exhaust note with PSE on or off, much more than in my previous Porsches. With it off it seems quite high and raspy (not in an unpleasant way), while with it on it becomes a different animal with deep grumble ranging to roar plus all sorts of noises I've never heard before. Haven't pushed it but what little I have tells me there is a world of anger hiding beneath. Can't wait for break-in to be over. Overall very pleased!

Yes! Will change the Avatar now. Trying to get out as much as I can so I can also release the hounds especially since the weather is better (other than our winter morning today)..

Strangely, the day it started production it disappeared from the iOS app on my phone. Up until then, it was listed as one of my cars. On the My Porsche website, it is still there with all the TYD detail. What's odd is that the text says all 718s are made in Zuffenhausen, on the same line as the 911s. The TYD map, however, starts in Osnabruck where the cars are in fact built.

Same happened to me, it was not showing up in the app and I was just be able to see in on desktop, but then it re-appeared on the app after a few days
If your VIN contains a K then it is built in Osna, Porsche didn't even bothered to update that on TYD

And I’m on a plane to Vegas as we speak for my previously scheduled vacation. Oh well, the Spyder RS will have to wait. Delivery to me tentatively set for May 6.

Ship arrived a day ago... still waiting for it to clear customs. Majority of the ship was destined for Benicia... so might be waiting for a bit of time.
