Production on my Spyder RS was supposed to finish on 5/3. It started a couple days late so I didn’t check again until yesterday.

Unfortunately completion was pushed back and is now scheduled for 5/17…unless it changes yet again.

I was actually surprised to see one on the showroom floor.
Even at The Exchange. They also had a blue 3RS on the floor, with plates on that already.

Would someone please tell me about the carbon fiber finish? Is it matte on dash, door, and center? Shiny everywhere else?

I'm going to place an order for some add-ons.

Interior is matte, exterior is gloss.

There's an Arctic Grey Weissach one (sold) on the floor at Porsche of Southampton. Should be there for a few days.

Door sills and bucket seats are gloss? If so, need to decide whether to make everything gloss to match the outside. I find it strange to mix and match.

Buckets are gloss, all the other interior (dashboard, door sill is matte)
Outside if you have weissach the carbon will be gloss too.

Sorry- the door sills are matte.

I don’t have bucket seats so I cannot speak to those.

Seems like everything you can see from the driver's seat is matte and everything you can't see is gloss :P

mine was scheduled to finish 5/7. Just updated to 5/22 with delivery moving from 6/4 to 6/20. Not surprised given what most have experienced.

Mine went into build on time and came out a day early.
Build start 4/16 and completed 5/6 (v313). ED 7/9!!

Seems like forever since I started bugging my dealer for an allocation slot, but yesterday it became reality. It is so nice in person. I had a regular Spyder and was hoping for an improved version of that. This though is a different animal. The noise is so visceral. It overwhelms you. Even with just keeping it under 4K, the experience is new, better than the Spyder...and I LOVED that Spyder.
