The Spyder RS Production and Delivery Discussion Thread
#916
I suspect if there are supply delays it is simply more reason for Porsche to be pushing the available parts to EU and Australian builds given both have impending regulatory deadlines that Porsche are no doubt trying to overcome. Mine completed within a week of its due date.

My RS entered production 6 TYD days late.
No change to following dates, including delivery.

I hope your situation will be different, but my car entered production 7 days after the TYD date. It then went 10 days past the TYD exit production date before an update showing a 3.5-month delay. Fingers crossed.

Did anyone else leave the German port on 4/15 headed for Baltimore? If so, do you have an eta for arrival?
TYD app/website is broken for me, although I get the occasional update email

You should ask your SA for a PSVMS V-code printout and compare them.
When I received my allocation back in early November all Planned and Expected Dates were the same. Be aware that all planned/expected dates fall on a Friday.
Just a side note my original (6 Nov V200) planned date of V260 Entry to Body Shop was 12 April. My actual entry was 15 April.
The other thing to note is V-Code events and TYD Milestones don't perfectly equate and different terms are used.
My last PSVMS printout was 1 April and the planned/expected were still identical. Comparing that V-code printout to TYD shows same dates with the exception of a couple that are within a day/two.
Once I exit production sure the remaining event dates will reflect new expected dates. That's what happened on my Spyder build -- TYD wasn't around for that delivery.
Good luck.

Power Folding Mirror
Curious. Was power folding mirror (option 748) ever offered for the 4RS or SRS?
IIRC the puddle light on the bottom of the side mirror only comes with power folding mirror.
