My ED isn't until the last week of August, but I'm still concerned that the production end date was already moved 3 times!

My Spyder RS is PTS, WP, PCCB, sofas, LED headlights, extended deviated stitching, but no mag wheels or CXX

Do any of those Spyder RS options shed any light on why my car has been delayed 3 times already??
Well they batch PTS and your ED isn’t for 3 months…so suspect they’re slotting it in where it makes sense.

Ran into this interesting situation…

We ordered our Taycan with our SA and were notified before the freeze date to finalize. Which we assumed the same for our Spyder RS.
my partner and I were contemplating with some options so figure to check in and see the status 2 days ago only to discovered it has been BUILT! (we weren’t even told we had an allocation!)
Oh well, no big deal as we had already done a pretty comprehensive check on our current build…
We’ve also submitted the order for ED. Which or SA told us that was why they didn’t get a lot of updates as the allocation gets pulled out of their system(?) But he’s also telling us now that the ED couldn’t be done and is in the process to transfer out of that system.

interestingly after linking the order # it still shows waiting for ED schedule without a delivery date estimates…

Any idea who might be telling the truth? lol

Another data point. My SRS was initially estimated for delivery on June 3. Moved back three times eventually to July 10 with a completion date that had moved back as far as June 11. TYD updated today that it completed build 5/30 and is now has an estimated delivery of June 28th. Nice to see it move up for once. Now just need to avoid a delay at the port.

Hoping for no port delay as the SRS should be getting off loaded since the ship docked today

Anybody with a recently assigned VIN can disclose their rough serial number? (last 3 digits). Trying to work out how many they make for NA market per month. From my searching around it is about 85 cars / month and we are at 500 right now. So if my math is right and they make it at the same rate for another 1 year (till end of MY2025). We should see less than 1500 cars for NA.

If you look at the Spyder/GT4 spreadsheets w/vins it looks like they’re made in batches for NA. Not steady state.

Off course that Zuff, this Osnabrucke so could be different.

Got my VIN middle April 0383.

production of mine started early april and my vin is 320 ish
It does feel like about 100 cars for NA per month. They are definitely pumping them out.

I know they were pumping about around 150 4RS per month. So wasn’t sure if 4RS SRS would share capacity or they would increase total capacity.
