Does anyone know if these VIN numbers are produced in order or if all the numbers are produced?

Someone had collected all the Spyder VINs for 2020-21/2 and believe IIRC that in general they are produced in some semblance or numerical order, but in several instances earlier VINs had much later production dates.

Whether this happens at Osnabrucke, who knows. Most of the old data sources have been fire-walled.

Good that Osnabrucke is close to Emden.

1hr 40min after receiving the "left for port" email received the "arrived at port" notification

4 ships heading to Houston this month, so fingers crossed.

I received the "Your Porsche is now on its way to you" email earlier today as well. @TXshaggy I wonder if we'll be on the same ship (mine is destined for Halifax). My dealer says ETA June 10th to them.

My VIN is 40031, so I am finding it odd such a big gap in numbers. I had understood North America numbering system is unique?

For North America, the last 3 digits (15-17) are the sequential identifier for each model year. And then the 3 digits before that (12-14) is a manufacturer identifier, which I believe is 240 for all SRS in North America.

Europe and ROW each then have their own VIN scheme.

There is one in port and loading now, but plenty this month.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed shipmate!

Wonder what that schedule means for cars going to Jacksonville as mine is showing June 1 delivery date but is sitting in port and that list only has one boat to Jacksonville and not until 6/16. Wonder if they will transport it from a different port...

You can download the Volkswagen PWL shipping info based on location.

I downloaded gulf coast…perhaps slightly different for east coast.

Didn't give me anything different choosing west/east coast. Oh well. If I have to wait a little longer I just need to wait a little longer.

Woke up to this very excellent news. The RS has landed in SoCal. I want to go down there and help them unload this ship already..

Your SA can tell what ship your car is on, the scheduled in post #1023 lists the next 3 ships headed to Halifax.
