Pleasant surprise checking TYD today, my estimated production completion moved up 2 days from May 2 to Apr 30. Hope that's accurate!

Pickup Monday May 6, as I am out of town for a week. Kind of bad luck with timing; this happened this past summer with my Z06 arrival as well.

Ship arrived 4/25... apparently Benicia doesn't work on the weekend.

One step closer. No VIN yet, though.

My dealer told me the VIN is issued on the day production starts. Mine started 4/22 and the VIN was on My Porsche that day.

Not sure if that is true. I received my VIN 4 days prior to production start.

Exactly that's is not true at all, Porsche provides the VIN before prod starts

Apologies. I wasn't precise enough. In my case, both TYD and the dealer's Porsche SVMS showed 4/22 as the start of production. That also happened to be the day that the VIN first appeared in my My Porsche Overview and the day the dealer's screen first showed the VIN. Needless to say, as most of us have learned, it is entirely possible that the timing of information delivery by Porsche may vary from case to case. I revise my initial comment to say that a VIN should be issued no later than the V260 start of production date.

I’d say it doesn’t appear to be tied to a TYD event then.

I got mine at the “starting soon” TYD event…about 2 weeks prior to production.

Default Actual SRS Production Time

For those of you whose cars have been built, how many days did it take from production start to exit production (V260 to V270)?
