I guess this is what you find at the end of a rainbow….. saw 2 other SRSs at the port (davisville) today. Black with silver mags/black calipers and another too far away to tell

Nope

@n4v4nod
How are you doing with your car’s vessel?

Anyone else inching towards their final days before delivery?

My vessel Siem Confucius docked today (very early am) in Rhode Island two days late (it sat out in the Atlantic like a turd for two days instead of heading straight in); then in the afternoon, it departed for Jacksonville! Expected to dock in Jax Thurs April 25 around 1am. The car could arrive by Fri or Sat 26th or 27th but is expected May 3rd. (Really stinks that I missed the previous vessel by one day).

Due to a pre-planned vacation, I have tentatively set delivery for Mon May 6th, assuming the car arrives at the Dealer and all is ready by then.

@carswithnoah

So you were the Siem Confucius also? How did you gain access to the port?

Dealer delivery this week?

My ship is currently anchored off San Diego. It already unloaded, but had some time to kill prior to arrival in Benicia (4/24). Think they preferred San Diego weather over San Fran. Planned Dealer arrival is 5/3... but I think Benicia is pretty overwhelmed... so we will see.

I was on the Emden, Confucius showed up right after!

I don’t have access inside the port however you can park and walk right up to the fence line. My car was conveniently parked right up so I was able to see it up close. I live within 15 mins or so from the port so I frequently drive through to see what’s coming and going.

Expecting delivery to dealer Monday or Tuesday.

I was wondering if anyone whose SRS started production recently can share their VIN (last 3 digits).

Mine is 436, was supposed to enter production on April 21, still no update.

Are you stuck in the stage “production starting soon,” or did you not reach that stage?

The Canadian TYD doesn’t have that step…

(But TYD browser inspection showed V250 2 weeks ago)

Just took delivery today! The car is amazing as described/expected and Underberg green looks spectacular. While babying it the ride is actually surprisingly quiet - I don't think it is much louder than what my 718 Spyder was. There seems to be a large difference in character of exhaust note with PSE on or off, much more than in my previous Porsches. With it off it seems quite high and raspy (not in an unpleasant way), while with it on it becomes a different animal with deep grumble ranging to roar plus all sorts of noises I've never heard before. Haven't pushed it but what little I have tells me there is a world of anger hiding beneath. Can't wait for break-in to be over. Overall very pleased!
