To me, the 4RS PASM is so much better than both of my 7.2 RS's simply because electronic dampening has improved immensely since 2010. I recently lowered my 4RS 7mm in the rear and 5mm in the front and set the car to Manthey spec alignment from the 4RS kit. It absolutely changed the car. More stable, less bounce and definitely tracked better in the rear with a little better turn in on the front. No added shims etc. Best $450 you could spend to start.
do you have geo print out ?

I'm curious if the Manthey base track setup and their upgrade package is unofficially constrained by Porsche. Everything I've read or watched on Youtube about their setup is so different spec wise than what the general 4RS population appears to be doing with track setup.

that's their word, they don't fit parts to the 4RS, they may do unofficially if you go there in person.

So yes nothing like the same as other people are doing.

This was my reply whe nI asked about a set up and toe links, they won;t even tell you what PSI and to use only what Porsche states, I asked for toe links this was my email back.

"
We would be happy to offer you a setup for your GT4 RS. This setup is specifically intended for use on the racetrack.

We do not offer an upgrade kit for the original chassis for the GT4 RS. We recommend the air pressure specified by Porsche, according to the sticker on the car.

I have attached the current price list with our current offer."

strange really what is going on.

Its clear to see that there are invisible red lines that Manthey do not cross in order to preserve the Porsche hierarchy, and therefore Porsche blessing and now inclusion in the tequipment and warranty programmes.
Foremostly… they do not touch engine and gearbox for anything after 997.

If you want more extreme… you’ll maybe sacrifice your warranty.
E.g. Dundon, SSR will sell you more extreme packages including power and extensive aero… this stuff definitely works but is not necessarily constrained by type approvals including worldwide, in the same way that Manthey now are being officially hitched with the big machine of Porsche.

Would interesting to see a speedshop battle all at the same track on the same day, same driver (OEM vs Manthey vs Dundon vs SSR)

I know couple guys that run at COTA were looking to do this.

It used to be not like this. But yes, Ferrari and Porsche experience has switched. Now one can go into a Ferrari dealer and pretty much just pick out whatever one wants on the lot. Probably with discount. Because of the uptick in popularity, Porsche pricing has been jumping up, not creeping up MSRP wise, not even talking about after ADM.

Lamborghini buying experience has always been nice, still is, probably due to the fact that it is the 3rd choice for most. McLarens are up there with Lamborghini also.

Pretty much my take on the GT4 RS. Much more fun to drive than my 992.1 GT3T which I traded for the GT4 RS.

Good video which is exactly the same as I've felt in my 4RS since day one. Just may be the favourite Porsche I've ever owned out of thirty cars. Do not underestimate the benefits of a perfectly balanced mid-engine Sportscar with really compact dimensions yet still room for two trunks. One of Porsche's masterpieces IMHO !

Gents, Attached is my geo. I’m not as sharp as I should be at reading these especially in minutes. If one of you could summarize the final numbers I would appreciate it. Looks like it’s stock setting plus affected change to get the final Manthey number. My dealer is Manthey certified and they will not let you see the alignment data until you receive the actual kit. Even then it was not on hard copy. We had to wait until set up info was sent via Manthey to the dealer inside Porsches system.
