^^^ LOL... I was just offered a $RS at MSRP and passed. The GT4 is just too perfect for my use case. More noise, bumpier ride and bigger "fin" in back would probably ruin it for me... If I have to drive one on a weekend ill get it on Turo for a bargain since there are so many out there in LA....

4 ($) RS. I do that 'cause I think everyone overpaid for the car if they paid a big ADM... I actually would love an SRS with SOFAs if I was looking for a convertible as I think it looks better and will hold value over the 4RS...

Hell I may drive the 4RS to COTA later this year.
If a 4RS is too much for you after 30 minutes maybe you need to hit the gym you mention above a bit more?

Drove my friend's 4RS today, third time driving it. I pushed harder than I have in the past, but still not close to the limit, maybe 6 or 7 tenths max.
I would say the ride quality is a non-issue. It feels softer and more compliant than the 991.2 3RS. And it's neither stiffer nor as bouncy nor prone to tramlining than the 992 GT3.
The acceleration feels about the same as the 992 GT3, not as strong as the 991.2 3RS.
The handling is of course different from a 911, but the way the car loads up and digs in as you turn in reminds me of the 992 GT3.
If the car is driven mildly, it's reasonably quiet. But as soon as you start to drive in a spirited manner, the car is pretty LOUD, louder than the 992 GT3, and louder even than the 991.2 3RS.
Overall, the 4RS is a pretty intense car, and I can see how someone who buys a GT car more for show than go may not like the 4RS.

I cannot imagine anyone who truly loves cars not loving the 4RS.

No, ride quality is not an issue. Yes, it is LOUD on deep throttle above 5000. Yes, it is a pretty intense car. Yes, I do take it everywhere -- places that I don't take my Ferraris. Why not? It's "just" a Porsche. Wings? No different from a GT4 or GT3.
